I always thought it very neat that Darth Vader was voiced by an African American actor. James Earl Jones that is, who consequently also did Mufasa's voice in the Lion King and plays the 'scary' blind neighbor in The Sandlot. This might bring up some other issues concerning race and 'villany' though that might be investigated.
Oh Yeah, I also forgot to say that I've often thought about doing a little experiment using voiceovers from animated features and dubbing them over movies where those actors actually appear in person. For example taking the voice of 'woody' in Toy Story -which is Tom Hanks -- and taking that dialogue and placing it over some other more 'serious' Tom Hanks film, like Philadelphia or Road to Perdition. I wonder what types of interesting things could happen by this peculiar recontextualization?

I didn't know Tom Hanks was Woody, that's awesome.
